Sabotage

Why do I do this to myself? I had a terrible night last night, where I was up around 6 times. Not much sleep was had at all, and that has totally wiped me out today. The whole day has been wasted. I didn't go for a walk. I ate a LOT of chocolate. I have had no fruit and no vegetables. Why do I do this?

  1. On the chocolate front....because it tastes soooooo good. As for the rest, perhaps because it's easier to fall back into old habits when you are struggling, one less thing to worry about or get past.

    There's always tomorrow, even if it's just one thing. One of these days I might actually follow my own suggestions. That will be the day the sky falls ;-)

  2. You are probably right Nevyn (and too true about the chocolate, LOL). well, it is a week since that post and I still have not got back into my walking... I feel generally worn out and am lacking energy. And right now I have PMS. Bad. And need chocolate!!

  3. Take melatonin if you can't sleep. I'm a bigger guy, but I take two pills and crunch them in my mouth and then drink a lot of water. That will put down 99% of the people out there!
